Create your first event

When you successfully sign up to IO, your will be prompted to create your first event.

You can also click Create event from the event listing page or the top-left dropdown within an existing event.

The only required field when creating a new event is the title.

You can add an optional date and location at this stage — or you can add them later under Settings. You may also edit the auto-generated slug (final part of the URL) for your event.

After creating your event, you will find yourself on the Event dashboard.
